A superbly renovated 14th Century Palazzo with its own private water gate. The building has been converted into private apartments which in total sleeps up to 48 people, making this villa the ideal venue for a special occasion such as a wedding or birthday. The apartments vary in size, sleeping between two and six people. This makes it ideal for large groups who can all be together but retain an element of privacy and space.

A Venetian Palazzo has what is termed the Piano Nobile which was the main living space, always at least one floor above the waterline. Here, the communal space is stunning with marble floors and large glass windows opening onto a stone terrace.

 



Facilities

The Palazzo has a ballroom and gardens, both of which can be used for a variety of events. The ballroom can be used either for a dinner for up to 150 guests or simply left as a stunning sitting area. An ancient stone staircase from the terrace leased down to the charming gardens and courtyard with flowers, statues and a well which is also excellent space for entertaining. The private water gates means guests can arrive by water taxi either from the station or airport directly into the Palazzo gardens.

Each apartment has been lovingly and tastefully restored with modern bathrooms and kitchens and furnished with Venetian antiques. The rooms are all air conditioned and have satellite television, as well as internet access.

 

Location

The Palazzo is just a short stroll to the famous St Marks Square and the Grand Canal. Close to Venice International Airport, a water taxi will take approximately 25 minutes. If a relaxing day at the beach is in order then the lido can be found only 20 minutes away.

The Palazzo is fully staffed, linen is changed daily and breakfast can be served in the apartments. The experience of staying in the Palazzo is truly remarkable as it is your own private palazzo with hotel level service.
